Mirrors are fun decorative items that can work well in any type of home. They bounce available light around the room and can be made in any style that takes your fancy. If you’re looking to add a quirky design element – a mirror can be a great place to start.
The ‘quirk’ is dialed way up in this first image. Made to look like white painted branches, this mirror works perfectly against the lush tropical wallpaper in this powder room.
In the second image this over-sized example has detailed curves that echo the curves of the pendant light and the backs of the dining chairs.
Round mirrors are often decorated as a sun-burst. It’s a design motif that is eternally popular. This burnished gold example looks particularly striking against the moody green walls of this entrance area.
The forth image is of another round sun mirror – but created in a totally different mood from the one before. And notice how perfectly its shape is echoed in the bedheads either side. Design really is ‘all in the details’!
